Our History

Since 1997, the University of Louisville/Glasgow Family Medicine Residency has trained physicians in a comprehensive, community‑based environment. Our residents learn in a rural setting that serves more than 200,000 people across multiple counties, while also benefiting from pediatric and subspecialty exposure through Norton Children’s Hospital and the University of Louisville. The result: confident, compassionate family physicians prepared to practice anywhere.
