Brook Helmer, M.D., M.H.A.

Dr. Helmer was born in Louisville, Kentucky. She received her undergraduate degrees from Indiana University Southeast in both Biology and Spanish. She participated in extensive research in both biology and medicine throughout her undergraduate and medical education. Dr. Helmer later received her medical degree with the distinction of Magna Cum Laude from American University of Antigua. In 2012, she received an MBA with a focus on Healthcare Administration. She has also greatly enjoyed volunteer work, creating social programs for inner city children through Parks and Recreation, and the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. Some of her hobbies include Shaolin Kung Fu, hiking, Spanish literature, and creative writing.
