Eric Liu, M.D.
Dr. Eric Liu was born in Taiwan. He received a bachelor in Biology and a medical degree from Ross University in 2009. Upon completion of medical school Dr. Liu completed two years of General-Surgery training before deciding Family Medicine was his true passion in medicine. Dr. Liu has assisted in various building projects for low-income families with Habitat for Humanity. Some of his interests include: swimming, basketball and music.
Joshua Porter, M.D., M.B.A.
Dr. Joshua Porter is from the tiny town of Rousseau, KY. He received a bachelor in genetics and his medical doctorate from the University of Louisville and an MBA from the University of Kentucky. Dr. Porter has participated in several volunteer projects such as the Medical Student Sickle Cell project and in his hometown to assist families with a rare genetic eye disorder. He would eventually like to return to Appalachia and manage his own practice. In his free time Dr. Porter enjoys hiking and computer programming.
Jason Matthews, M.D.
Dr. Jason Matthews was born in Greensboro, North Carolina. He received a bachelor in Biology and minor in Chemistry at Chapel Hill and a medical degree from St. George’s University in 2013. Dr. Matthews is fluent in many languages: English, German, Malayalam and Spanish. Through the Foundation for the International Relief of Children he traveled to Costa Rica. There he helped run the local rural clinics, providing nutrition and health education for disadvantaged and under-served women and children. Dr. Matthews is an American muscle car enthusiast. He enjoys art and spending time with his friends and family.
Muteeb Ghaffar, M.D., M.H.A.
Dr. Muteeb Ghaffar received his medical degree from the University of Seychelles American Institute of Medicine and a Master of Science in Health Administration from Western Kentucky University where he was inducted into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. While in medical school he received numerous honors and graduated in the outstanding category. Dr. Ghaffar has worked at the Kelly Autism Program and enjoyed volunteering for the American Cancer Society. Some of his hobbies include traveling, hiking, camping, and anything to do with the great outdoors.
